A recipe that uses less butter and sugar, compared to most recipes out there. Yet, full of flavor!
5T Salted Butter, softened
1/2c Unsweetened Baking Cocoa
1T Light Corn Syrup
3/4c TO 1c Sugar
2 Eggs
2tsp Vanilla Extract
1/2c Flour
1/8tsp Baking Soda
1/8tsp Sea Salt
1/2c Semi Sweet Choc. Chips
Preheat 350°. Butter pan.
In a bowl, combine melted butter and cocoa. Stir until cocoa’s dissolved. Stir in corn syrup.
Mix in sugar, mix well.
Add in eggs, one at a time. Stir until well combined.
Stir in vanilla, flour, baking soda, and salt.
Add in choc. chips.
Smooth out in pan. Bake for 35 minutes.
Optional: Top with Caramel Topping (In top photo) or both Caramel and Fudge Syrup Topping (In bottom photo). You can even crumble and sprinkle Candied Bacon on top, too.
Fudge Topping works, as well. Etc. Endless options.
